Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ReqPath. By creating an account, registering a school, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to them. We've kept them readable — please take a moment to look them over.

Last updated: June 11, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using ReqPath ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you're agreeing on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. The Service

ReqPath provides course-planning tools for schools, including a class catalog, prerequisite tree builder, scheduling, an AI advisor, and student planning features. We may add, change, or remove features over time as we improve the platform. We'll make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes.

3. Accounts and eligibility

4. Acceptable use

When using ReqPath, you agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Billing and plans

Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed on a per-student basis with graduated tiers, billed annually unless stated otherwise. Each tier's rate applies only to the students within that range. Pricing details are available on our pricing page.

Trials and one-time charges

We may offer trials (for example, a $1 trial of all features). Certain actions, such as adding students beyond your plan, may incur one-time charges, which we'll make clear before you confirm.

Payments and renewals

6. Your data and ownership

You — or your school — own the data you put into ReqPath: your catalog, rosters, schedules, plans, and selections. We claim no ownership of it. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide the Service to you.

Your data is yours. You can export classes, students, teachers, schedules, and selections to CSV at any time. If you leave, you walk away with everything you brought in. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle and protect data.

7. AI features

The AI advisor generates suggestions based on your school's catalog and a student's stated goals. Suggestions are drafts intended to assist — not replace — human judgment. School staff retain final say over student plans. We don't guarantee that AI-generated suggestions are complete, accurate, or suitable for every situation, and you're responsible for reviewing them before acting.

8. Intellectual property

The ReqPath platform, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide, is owned by ReqPath and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service normally.

9. Service availability

We work to keep ReqPath available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." From time to time we may need to perform maintenance or experience downtime outside our control.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReqPath disclaims all warranties not expressly stated here, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. ReqPath will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we'll make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deletion, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform and our business evolve. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify schools. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.
